Oatmeal can reduce inflammation and redness of the skin.
Studies have shown that green tea when applied topically can reduce acne by 50%, as well as acne-causing inflammation.
1 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon matcha/green tea powder
2 cups water
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 mashed banana
(optional, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence to enhance smell)
Add rolled oats and water in a saucepan and cook it. After oats are soft and cooked, let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
Once the mixture is cool, add the remaining ingredients, including matcha, honey, lemon juice and mashed banana into the mix. Stir well until everything is even, then you’re done!
This may be tasty, so try not to eat all of it before you apply it as a mask once!
